Perfect Furnitures for My House

Yesterday, I borrow some furnitures from my brothers in law. He doesn't use this furnitures since now he lived in other country, for a while. Actually, I'm not quiet agree, because it's my wifes idea to take that furnitures to the house. According to me, the designs is not quite trendy. I want a furnitures with modern design or contemporary design. But, after think and rethink, I agree with my wife to take that furnitures to the house. How about you, what is your preferences? And what is factors (reasons) choosing that type (models)? This is very subjective areas but I would like to hear the opinions from you. Actually I want to change my Bedroom Furniture with Modern Bedroom Furniture or Contemporary Bedroom Furniture. Can you help me? I will considered your opinions as a factors before I decide to buy a furniture.
